PickiPicki
Last updated July 30, 2026
PickiPicki is built by Omnium Applications, LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information PickiPicki collects, why, and how you can control or remove it.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Profile information. Phone number (optional, for friend matching), cuisine preferences, disliked cuisines, dietary restrictions, price range, and maximum travel distance. If you describe a custom dietary, medical, or religious restriction in your own words, that text is sent to a third-party AI service (see below) to generate a short summary used to evaluate restaurant options — it is stored on our servers tied to your account.
Dependent profiles. If you add a family member or child as a dependent, the same profile fields above are stored for that dependent, linked to your account. Dependents do not have their own login.
Location. When you start a group session, we collect the location and search radius you provide (or your device's location, with your permission) to find nearby restaurants. This is stored with the session record tied to your group.
Contacts. If you use "Find Friends from Contacts," your device's phone numbers are sent to our server to check for matching PickiPicki accounts. We do not store your address book — only the phone numbers of contacts who already have a PickiPicki account are returned as friend matches, and unmatched numbers are discarded after the lookup.
Camera. Used only to scan QR codes for adding friends. We do not store photos or camera data.
Social and group data. Friend connections, group membership, and session/restaurant history are stored to provide the group decision-making features.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account (Google sign-in)
- To power each person's AI research agent, which matches restaurants to that person's dietary needs and preferences
- To negotiate a shortlist of restaurants that work for everyone in a group session
- To connect you with friends who already use PickiPicki
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
Third parties we share data with
- Google — for account sign-in.
- Google Places — restaurant and location data used to find nearby options.
- OpenRouter / Anthropic — your stated dietary/cuisine preferences and custom restriction text are sent to an AI model to generate restaurant recommendations. This data is used to process your request and is not used by these providers to train their models under our agreement with them.
We do not use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs in PickiPicki.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your dietary restrictions, preferences, and dependent profiles at any time from within the app. You can delete your account permanently from Profile → Delete Account, which removes your account and all associated data (profile, dependents, group memberships, session history) from our servers.
Data retention
We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, this data is permanently removed. Unmatched contact phone numbers submitted for friend-finding are not retained after the lookup completes.
Children's privacy
PickiPicki accounts are intended for adults. Children can be added only as a "dependent" profile under a parent or guardian's account — dependents do not have independent logins, and cannot be contacted directly through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as PickiPicki changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
